As I was talking with Glen yesterday about our need for a 15 passenger van and what we'd do with it, the thought came to mind that we might use tokens as a means to involve more people in the life of our community. e.g., We might schedule a trip to the zoo. Those with so many tokens/points would be able to go. One would "earn" tokens by attending regularly scheduled services, like Liturgy of the Hours, Liturgy of the Mass, etc. Another way to earn tokens would be to do work around the Center, like cooking a meal, doing the dishes, helping someone else in need, maybe accompany them to the ER when they're sick.
I sincererly don't know if this concept is sending the "right" or "wrong" message about service so I open it up for discussion.
